“Elizabeth's performance and personality dismiss any preconceptions of classical music as elite, or being a music of the past. She is an engaging performer and can draw even the most reluctant audience member into her spell.” (Fidelio Magazine).

I am classical pianist with experience performing in over 30 countries. I enjoy putting together the perfect selection of music for your event, curating a program of pieces that have meaning to you and your special occasion. I enjoy special events (weddings, retirements, celebrations) and will be thrilled to be part of creating a memorable atmosphere for your guests. I want my audience to leave feeling uplifted and inspired! I believe that interactions through words and sounds are true exchanges of energy, and you get only as much as you give. Performing is communicating, and music is stories and journeys, told and traveled through sound.

BIO: Elizabeth Borowsky enjoys a vibrant musical career as soloist and collaborative pianist, educator, composer, speaker, and recording artist. She has been a featured performer at distinguished venues including Carnegie Hall and The Kennedy Center, and has performed recitals in over thirty countries in prestigious music festivals including Klavierwoche International, the Maryland Arts Festival, Concerti di Primavera, Heidelberg Klavierwoche, Music at the Paderewski Manor, the International Festival of Music and Architecture in Torun, and UNESCO's International Conference on Local Music Heritage in the Age of Globalization. Borowsky has recorded CDs and DVDs of standard literature, music by living composers, and her own original compositions for ICRecords. In 2005, she was among the pianists invited to participate in the International Chopin Competition in Warsaw and was awarded the Acte Preable Prize for Outstanding Interpretation of Chopin's Music, resulting in her solo album, “Chopin Recital.” Elizabeth holds degrees from Towson University, Trinity College of Music (London), and Indiana University (Bloomington), and has received awards, prizes, and scholarships from the Chopin Foundation of the United States, Maryland International Education Association, U.S. National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts, Ford Foundation, Kosciuszko Foundation, and National Music Teachers Association.
