Charles Sekel is a jazz and classical pianist with over 20 years of experience performing and teaching. Studying at the Juilliard Pre-College Program and the Peabody Institute, he has performed at various music festivals in the United States, Spain, Czech Republic and France. In 2012, he founded the music collective First Blush, which has performed in venues all over New York City including The Bitter End, Sullivan Hall, Tammany Hall and Arlene's Grocery. After releasing two EPs, he is now writing and recording the group's first full-length album. He currently lives in Philadelphia.

Charles's playing is really exceptional! He is very talented and it's clear that he's devoted a lot of time and effort to perfecting his craft. He was also very professional, easy to communicate with, and an absolute pleasure to work with. I would definitely hire him again!
