Andrew Grimes Classical Pianist from Longwood, FL

Having performed in both central Florida and northern Italy Andrew enjoys working not only as a solo pianist but also as a guitarist and vocalist. Being a gifted sight-reader and improviser Andrew is in high demand as a classical performer. However, Andrew has been studying classical\pop guitar and vocals for the past eight years as well. In 2006 Andrew was awarded the title of Stetson Piano Scholar and has been invited to perform in several benefit recitals, including the Merridy Williams Memorial recital. Andrew was appointed as piano soloist for the Stetson University's symphonic band for the premier of the concerto-style Symphony No. 7 by contemporary composer David Maslanka. Andrew enjoys his duties as a church pianist\organist and private piano teacher. Andrew has been privileged to have participated in the Schlern International Music Festival in Bolzano, Italy. While in Schlern Andrew has performed in 8 classical concerts and was awarded the opportunity to perform for Andre Diev of the Moscow Conservatory.
