10 Minute Musicals--Gregory Hall I studied music at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, PA, and also at Boston University and UC Santa Barbara. My classical works have been performed in many venues in the US and abroad. I am an Alfred, Maine based pianist/organist. I am the music director/organist at the Wells Congregational Church, Wells, ME. I have also been the pianist at the Oak Street Bistro in Alfred for the past 4 years. I can take most requests, in most styles. I have a number of transcriptions of 40s big band hits, including common favorites like "In The Mood", and "Moonlight Serenade", among others. I also feature elegant hits from the 40s, like "Laura", etc. I also specialize in hits from the 60's through today--please see my videos for the wide range of stylings that I do! Although I can play any kind of background or foreground music, one of my specialties is "10 minute musicals"; evocations of the great musicals from the 40's through the '80's (and on to today if requested). I take the timeless songs from these and link them together with short segues to more fully evoke the atmosphere of those wonderful musicals. Available for parties/weddings/events of all kinds.
