We are a husband-and-wife team from two different worlds, united by our passion for photography. Daniel worked in fashion and advertising in his native Australia, while Kelli worked for magazines and newspapers in the United States. As fate would have it, our two worlds collided, magic happened, and we decided to get hitched. Our Southern Belle meets Southern Cross love story took an unexpected twist when, prior to our wedding in 2004, we couldn't find a photographer. All we wanted was cool, creative, quality wedding photography, and what should have been an inspiring and exiting experience for us, quickly became frustrating. As natural-born creatives, we decided to design our own blueprint for what wedding photography should be—from the emotional impact of the imagery to the process of working with a wedding photographer. In fact, our blueprint was such a hit and friends loved our magazine-style approach so much, that we started photographing their weddings. And in 2005, we officially launched our company. These days, we proudly live and breathe all things weddings and we're also obsessed with basset hound! We now call Birmingham home, along with Scarlett, named for Scarlett O'Hara. When you call us, you'll probably hear Scarlett adding her two cents to the conversation. (We're so sorry, but she's just flat-out bad.)
