There is not a feeling in the world like the one seconds before the wedding processional begins. The heart pounding thrill I get when the room gets quiet and the next chapter in a couples life is moments away from starting can only be compared to the last few seconds of a tied football game and I'm left with one more shot at the endzone. I am journalistic photographer by nature. My aim is to present a story through the use of candid photographs as well as fashion magazine style posed images. I have been involved with photography for as long as I can remember. I learned most of what I know from my mother, . Growing up, we had a fully functioning darkroom/laundry room in the house. I was able to take the knowledge and test our of every course offered in high school as well as college. It was no surprise that my first job was managing a photo lab. I stepped away from photography for a bit and focused on other forms of artistic expression. By some stroke of luck, fate, karma or whatever you wanna call it, I was asked to help my mother with a shoot. As we were packing up the gear, I realized how much the industry has changed. I believe wedding and portrait photography has made significant, artistic leaps from the days of old. I believe the traditional styles of photography are dull and all but extinct. The evolution has become provocative and adventurous. I feel a renewed stimulation in capturing the glamour and a passionate desire to expose the breathtaking art hidden in everyone. I LOVE being a photographer! My photography is a blend of journalism and fashion style portraits. I present a story through the use of candid journalistic photographs as well as fashion magazine style posed images. I professionally photograph Weddings, Engagements, Bridals, Maternity, Newborns, Families, Events, Corporate and Actors Headshots, and Musician's live performances during the bands media press kits. Photography for me is more than taking pictures...It's about passionate moments of raw emotion, frozen in time, creating works of art.
