About - Daniel Balboa I'm a full-time professional photographer based in Southern California. We love working with our clients all over California... and traveling throughout the world to create an amazing picture during those once-in-a-lifetime moments! I've traveled as far as Finland, which in the spring was so cold and so beautiful. Every year I go on a trip with a bunch of guys to help the impoverished towns across the Mexico/Texas border. I am excited to see where God will lead me next! My style is a mix of fun, classy, and chic. I tend to shoot from the hip and with my heart. Photography is not just another love, but my passion. I strive to go beyond capturing moments. It is my desire to build relationships with our clients so they get images that are one-of-a-kind as well as the experience of the day we spend together. I love having fun with my wife, Beky. I find it a joy that she supports my profession as a photographer. She is my biggest fan! I love how she works so well with me as my manager and assistant during the day of the wedding. WHAT'S IN MY BAG? My cameras are the Canon 5D Mark III & a 5D Mark II. We have a slew of Canon L pro lenses; a lot of Memory Cards with some back up recording drives like the Epson P-5000 (gotta keep the file safe); and 3 Flash strobes with stands for some amazing night photography.
