A Walk in the Woods Petting Zoo from Charlotte, NC

Having a birthday party or special event? A Walk in the Woods wants to make your next event something memorable and fun for the whole family. Best of all, we travel to your site and set up our unique displays. Please be aware that we are not your typical petting zoo. We bring exotic reptiles and insects from far-away lands and display a multitude of hands-on artifacts from around the world. Something most people would rarely have the chance to see or learn about (please see science education for special events). Our hands-on animal parties entertain children of all ages with fun and interactive science programs that come to you. Our parties captivate children's attention and spark their natural curiosity. Children can discover the world of reptiles and see live snakes, turtles and lizards in our reptile program. Or if your child likes snakes, we can provide a special program squiggling with a variety of live snakes. For very young children, we recommend our Animal Crackers program that has a variety of things to see and touch from reptiles, insects, birds and mammals. Tell us your child's interest and we will help you select an animal party perfect for your child from our program menu. We will provide your entertainment and make it easy for you to have an engaging, memorable birthday party for your child.
