Scott Douglas is a superb and highly talented Musician that will bring the wonderful sounds of music to your event. Whether its your wedding, a party, a school or corporate event, Scott has the right music styles to suit your needs. He offers performances in Piano, Accordion, Steel Drums, Marimba, & General Percussion. As the founder and artistic director of the Atlanta Percussion Trio, Scott Douglas has performed for children for much of his career. As part of the Young People's Concert Series, Scott's program, Around the World in Music (also known as Global Beat and Shake, Rattle & Roll), demonstrates percussion instruments from the Caribbean, Mexico, Europe, Asia, Australia, South America and Africa as well as wood and clay flutes from North and South America, Scandinavia and Africa. Students will see and hear what it's like to make music in villages around the world on the instruments that each culture has created.
