PGBB Live!- With 2 highly acclaimed CDs under our belt, PGBB offers a 45-90 minute original music show for outdoor festivals and concert events. Pirates, Guitars & Beachfront Bars is consistently highlighted on a variety of Trop Rock Radio stations and programs across the country. Our singles “On A Boat”, “Beach Song”, “In Deep” and “Rum In The Bottle” have all made various Top 20 listings. Tribute shows are a big seller in today's entertainment market and Jimmy Buffett is no exception. Here, we let the original Trop Rocker take top billing. The music is heavily weighted on Jimmy Buffett, The Beach Boys, Kenny Chesney and a select group of our original material. Two Lone Pirates- For smaller events and establishments, Pirates, Guitars & Beachfront Bars offers a lower cost duo performance. Jim and Pete will perform a tailor made selection of songs specifically for your event. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: Q: How much does the band charge per night? A: Exact pricing depends on the musician configuration, date, location, timing, and setup requirements--Please fill out our "request a free quote" for more information. Q: How far in advance does the band book out? A: Most shows are booked 6-18 months out...Be sure to call or email for an immediate response on our availability. (Side Note: May-October is the busiest time of the year for the band, so be sure to act quickly if your looking for one of these prime weekend nights.) Q: How far will the band travel? A: All over the world! Q: How many people are in the band? A: PGBB is generally booked as a 4 piece combo, 2 Guitar/Vocals, Bass Guitar and Drums/Percussion. A duo is also available. Many other sounds are provided on backing tracks for a full, high energy experience. As many as 9 pieces can be booked to achieve the ultimate production experience featuring a live horn section. Q: Do I need to rent any sound & lighting equipment for my event? A: PGBB provides a full PA system with lights when performing. This would be appropriate for an expected audience of up to 500 persons. Larger venues, opening act gigs and festivals do require a provided light and sound system. Q: What about staging--Do I need to rent staging for the band? A: PGBB has performed on grass, asphalt, flatbed trailers and huge festival stages. Staging is not required for small venues. Let the image (of the event) you want to portray be your guide. Feel free to consult us if you are unsure. Q: How many breaks will the band take? A: PGBB can provide 1 to 3 sets of 60 minutes of music each. A 15 minute break is taken between these sets. Great music will be provided during these breaks to keep the party going. Q: When will the band arrive for their performance? A: The band will need approximately 2 hours to set up our full PA and light system. Please, let us know of any time constraints or tight scheduling requirements that we need to work around. Keep in mind that large time gaps or delays may affect our pricing.
