Recently, Jenufa Gleich returned from Prague after completing her debut CD recording. The recording features Gleich in the most demanding bel canto scenes in the operatic repertoire. She is accompanied by the North Czech Philharmonic and conducted by John Apeitos. The release date will be in 2007.
Engagements in 2007 include performances of Donna Elvira in Prague, Helmwige in 'Die Walkure', and the title role of Spontinis 'La Vestale' in Paris. She will also sing a concert tour of the album in Europe with the North Czech Philharmonic. Future dates to be announced.
In 2006, she made her European debut to great acclaim creating the title role in the world premiere of Gary Papachs opera, 'the Last Leaf', in the Czech Republic with the North Czech Philharmonic.
Previous engagements include New York City opera tour (La Boheme, The Bartered Bride) and bel canto at Caramoor (La Sonnambula, The Magic Flute and La Rondine.)
