I have been a pianist/vocalist/"one man band" style of entertainer for over 40 years performing at numerous bars, restaurants, hotels, and private parties all over New Jersey, New York & Pennsylvania. I have a varied repertoire of over 10,000 songs ranging from the oldies of the 50's,60's,70's,& 80's, to the great songs from the "American Songbook"- Gershwin, Porter, Berlin, Kern, etc. as well as the great artists like Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, and Dean Martin. I cover most Broadway shows as well as some current music. My specialty is "old time rock'n'roll" -(Jerry Lee Lewis, Fats Domino, Elvis, etc.) as well as classic rock (Rolling Stones, Beatles, Elton John, Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, Eagles, Jimmy Buffet, etc.). I also play disco/dance music such as Barry White, YMCA, and the Electric Slide. I also do a lot of country--people like Willie Nelson, Alan Jackson, and Toby Keith. I also love to play the blues -(Muddy Waters, Elmore James, Jimmy Reed, etc.)- when I have the audience for it. When I have call for it, I do some of the great folk type performers as well- (Tom Paxton, Tom Rush, James Taylor). If you are even more eclectic, I even get into people like Tom Waits. Beyond that, I also have an extensive Irish repertoire. (For those wanting a quieter affair, or a cocktail hour, my instrumental piano repertoire is extensive - from classical right through to the music of today. Each affair I play is catered to what YOU want. Volume will be where you want it. I can either be in the background quietly, or as loud as you want for a lively, fun, dancing party! I can also provide live "Karaoke" and accompany anyone on almost any song in any key. Whether it is a tuxedo or suit & tie affair, or casual in the backyard or at a bar, I can be appropriately attired for all affairs. I can be completely self-contained, using my Yamaha-P-90 Keyboard, drum computer and sound system, or I am just as happy to use your piano, if you have one.
