Earl is a multi-talented singer/musician. So, when performing as a one man band, he uses most of his own custom recorded backing tracks and a vocal harmonizer that follows his voice "Not the Canned" pre-recorded stuff. He uses 2-3 mics on stage to switch back and forth during each song from lead vocal to back up harmonies to blues harp to smokin' guitar solos. Earl's unique combination of talent and witty interaction with the crowd delivers that true energetic and entertaining "Full Live Band" sound.
Earl started performing professionally at the early age of 14. Because of his families diverse taste in music, his early influences were the Beatles, Rolling Stones, CCR, Bob Seger, Eric Clapton, Merle Haggard, George Jones, Bill Monroe and who can forget Elvis!
Since then Earl has honed his skills over years of performing in some of the best regional, national and internationally touring acts in Texas and Canada. Over the years, he was lucky or diligent enough to have been invited to play back-up or share the stage with numerous top recording artists such as, Dickey Betts (Allman Brothers), The Outlaws, Arc Angels, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Diamond Rio, Travis Tritt, Delbert McClinton, Hank Jr., to name a few.
Earl's recording career received a boost in 1978 when his self penned indie release of "Does it Have To Be The Same" received radio airplay and started to make some industry waves. He received a couple of Nashville Music City awards, 1981 Best Vocals. And with his 2nd release "Can't Forget I'm Still In Love With You" (1982), Best Song.
Over the years his opening act and band leader skills were honed by running various large house band venues (1,000-2500 seats) that regularly booked touring recording artists.
Earl B. Hall, as a solo and/or with a full band, has also covered countless private parties, pubs and wedding receptions. This is a testament to his versatility, as he regularly performs everything from some contemporary hits to your all-time favorite Oldies, Classic Rock, Motown, Blues and Country.
What ever the occasion, an acoustic dinner set (25 people) to full blown sound system with stage lights (2500 people).
