ABOUT THE GROUP The William Foley Group plays music that bridges the gap between pop, jazz, classical and singer/song writer styles. We are not stuck in a genre. Whether it's a Chopin waltz played in a jazz style or a Beatles tune played in a whole new way, what you will hear creates a delightful and fresh ambiance. Many of the songs you know and love are arranged in a distinctive way that adds a level of sophistication to your event. The William Foley Group has been performing in the nationally for 30 years. Mr. Foley is a graduate of the jazz studies at the University of North Texas. He has also studied in New York City with Kenny Werner and at Columbia University in New York City. Mr. Foley is not only an arranger that can bring new energy to a standard, pop or classical tune, he is also a composer. Aside from playing many standards and pop tunes he has a solo CD of original compositions that are sometimes inserted into the music he provides to his clients.
