The USO Show Troupe is part of an American tradition that goes back nearly 75 years to its beginnings in the muddy camp shows of the South Pacific. Today the pride and passion that fueled that early music lives on through the USO Show Troupe.
With over 350 live annual performances, the Troupe entertains approximately 600,000 service members and their families worldwide as well as nationally televised audiences. The USO Show Troupe presents top of the line entertainment with performers possessing extensive Broadway, Off-Broadway, film and TV credits. Musical arrangements are produced in collaboration with Grammy, Emmy and Tony Award winning writers and arrangers, and costumes are designed and created by Broadway costume designers and internationally recognized fashion designers.
With a roster of 60 professional male and female performers, the Troupe can perform in multiple group sizes ranging from 4 to 36 people. Their show possesses an ever-changing repertoire that is driven by today's top hits while continuing its tradition of paying tribute to the great legacy of USO entertainers. The Troupe's performances offer “something for everyone” with songs ranging from the standards of the 40's all the way through pop hits heard on the radio today.
For the military community, performances include deployment, homecoming and family appreciation events, commissionings, christenings, retirements, and change of commands at venues such as military hospitals, veteran's homes, VFW's, American Legions, parades, Fleet Weeks and Air Shows around the world, to name a few. For the private sector, the Troupe performs at fundraisers, galas, corporate events and tradeshows, professional sporting events, nationally televised performances, symphonic performances, music festivals and has been the opening act for nationally recognized artists.
