Our primary influences include legendary two-fingered trailblazer Django Reinhardt and his Hot Club of France; the genre-bending "little orchestra" from Portland, Pink Martini; and accessible polystylism. While our performances are musically satisfying to the master's- and doctorate- level professionals in our ensemble, each song is crafted with the goal of maintaining a general accessibility. Festivals- With exciting, multi-cultural performances that have such a strong cross-generational appeal, Swing Je T'aime's music is ideal for setting a celebratory, artistic, accessible tone at public festivals! We do things a little different for private events. After touring internationally as a sideman with international artists, and organizing international level gypsy jazz festivals, I realized that local bands were often charging the same amount or more as internationally recognized artists within my genre who are worlds above the local talent. Having worked with these artists many times and in many capacities I am often able to arrange to have these artists at private events. Before booking our act you must contact me so I can investigate which international level artists are on tour and will be able to join us and you for your event. Locations: 90 minutes outside of Denver/Boulder metro areas.
