We had Rob perform at our wedding ceremony and reception and a short review cannot describe how great our experience was with him. He set up a call early in the process to go over song choices for the ceremony, and even learned a song for us that was not already in his repertoire for my wife's walk down the aisle. He arrived early to go through some of the precession logistics with us, and had all the right tools for the job. During the reception, he filled the room with great music for the night and every guest complimented his talents.

Rob was honestly so amazing!! He is so talented. All my guests absolutely LOVED him. Rob was exactly what I wanted plus more. By the end of the night everyone was up singing, dancing and having the best time ever!! I would recommend him to anyone who wanted a live guitarist for any event!!

Your search is over. Book Rob now!! We booked him for our November, 2015 wedding in Lenox and we can't stop talking about him. He is THAT good! First, his professionalism and responsiveness is spot on. Even more importantly, his talent is off the charts incredible. We selected a Jack Johnson song as a recessional at the ceremony and his timing was perfect and his delivery exceptional. He wowed us during cocktail hour with upbeat tunes and then mellowed it out for dinner as we requested. He learned a song for our first dance and then got the party going after dinner. We can't say enough great things about him! I may plan a party just to hear him again! Book him now!

I cannot even put into words what a perfectly wonderful experience it was to work with Rob. He was professional, kind and talented. We had our ceremony atop a mountain and Rob was willing to pack up all his gear and bring it to the summit--he worked directly with the event coordinator to do so and it went flawlessly. A number of people approached me during and after the wedding to say how talented he is and how wonderfully his voice and style worked for the wedding. Even our other wedding vendors were gushing over him. I would venture that, regardless of the event you're booking for, you won't be disappointed with Rob.

Words can't accurately describe the joy that Rob brought to our wedding reception. He was an absolute blessing! Guests are still asking “Who was that guy?” He set the tone for what was planned as a casual wedding on the rooftop at Lord Jeffery Inn in Amherst, MA. His instrumentals during and after the wedding ceremony were perfectly played, providing the start to a truly outstanding evening. He delivered soft current/contemporary ballads to start and finished with more danceable classic favorites. Rob is an unbelievable musician, and even a better human being!
Do yourself a favor. Look no further. Rob Ranney will take any function from good to OUTSTANDING!!

Rob played during our lunch reception recently. When I heard him play for the first time, I dropped my lunch to take a look, because I couldn't believe my ears! He has a very smooth voice, has a great repertoire, great at ad libbing, and created a laid back and fun atmosphere for our reception. Our guests have raved about his performance and song selection. In our table, we found ourselves occasionally saying, "oh my gosh!" because we couldn't believe how good he was. He was also very easy to work with and talk to throughout the planning process. His videos don't do him enough justice!

Where do I even begin? Rob is the complete package. He blew us all away at my mothers 50th surprise party this past Saturday night. Our guests could not stop talking about how wonderful he was. His voice is one in a million. He sang a number of different songs and he nailed each and everyone of them. His song selections were perfect, there was something for everyone. Not only does Rob have an amazing voice but he also has a wonderful personality. He was extremely personable and made everyone feel so comfortable. We couldn't have been any happier with Rob and his entertainment. My fiancé and I couldn't let him leave without booking him for our wedding. Thank you Rob!

Rob was absolutely fantastic! We loved him & hope to have him back sometime.
Rob's voice is so mellow & beautiful & he was very accommodating. He actually learned a new song, on the spot, for a couple that had recently married. This was the wedding dance they did not get to enjoy the day of their wedding.
Sunday morning (casual) brunch was the setting to celebrate special birthdays as well. It felt like a small café in my friends living room. Rob helped me surprise my friends with this gift by walking in playing guitar & singing "Birthday" by the Beatles. He came in with a huge smile & my friends were very impressed. Rob made a lovely birthday brunch memorable.

My daughter needed a soloist for her Catholic Church Wedding. I searched the internet, found Gigmasters, listened to many musicians, and was immediately impressed with the Guitar skills and voice of Rob. The videos were all contemporary, the settings were for "entertainment" purpose, but there was something about his tenor voice that assured me he could sing/play Wedding ceremony music and parts of the Catholic Mass. I can best sum up the outcome in this way: my daughter sat right in front of me and my wife, and when Rob began to play and sing the responsorial psalm (Taste and See) Jen turned to us with a HUGE smile and whispered "Thank You Daddy"!

Rob was unbelievable! His music was awesome. He read the crowd and really put on a great show! He took requests and played music we could dance to. We had many compliments from our guests saying what a great voice he had and asking where we found him. We would absolutely hire him again for a future event. AMAZING! My guests were blown away by Rob talent.Rob has a personal touch and the light just shines through him. Rob played at for a 40th birthday party in Falmouth MA. He arrived early, despite having to brave the Bourne Bridge on a Saturday evening in the summertime.
The bulleted list:
1. His voice and guitar playing seemed effortless.
2. He dominated everything from county music favorites or top 40 hip hop.
3. He played music that was engaging to all of our guests...ranging in age from 3y/o to 91 y/o.
4. He had people dancing! Have you seen people dance to a guitar plate.
