We performed in a tri-state area for 4 years performing blues originals and doing various covers by the blues greatest artists. I started my own band when the opportunity presented itself and formed a classic rock, blues and jazz band called "Euphoria" that performed in the northeast region of the U.S. and also extended into Florida for 5 years. I had the opportunity to perform with my cousin's band called "The Impulz Band" based out of the Cayman Islands. We performed at the Cayman Islands Jazz Festivals for 5 consecutive years and opened each year for various great artist such as; Anita Baker, Michael Bolton, Chaka Kahn, Brian McKnight, Musiq Soulchild, Alicia Keys, R&B singer "Joe", Robin Thicke and Norman Brown. After relocating to Central Florida. Yohance Wicks, Keys and Vocals: Yohance Wicks learned the piano at the young age of 4, playing on the humble upright piano that was in the living room of his home. His first song, "Lean On Me" by Bill Withers, collected accolades from his family and friends and from that moment, he was inspired and driven to become the best pianist and teacher he could be. His first professional lessons, taken from his piano teacher at Southwest Middle School in Orlando, Florida, only added to the already growing technique that would become the foundation of his playing. With direction from an accomplished piano teacher and hours of consistant practice throughout his middle, and high school careers, he has advanced to great levels of achievement.
After winning first place in talent shows and receiving standing ovations at recitals and performances in high school, he continued to strive for success, moving to the collegiate level of learning and performance.
