Although a week before the wedding the lead singer called and stated she wanted to know if we could pick another singer. We were thrilled with the singer she directed us to. The band was amazing!

MsJones & the Velvetones honestly made my entire wedding reception spectacular. Everyone was asking me where I found them. They were so professional and they sounded amazing. After talking about what I wanted I didn't have to think twice, they kept the pace of the day so that I could fit in all the reception essentials. They started out with slow, beautiful classics during dinner and then got everyone out of their seats. Lauren's voice is amazing and the whole group really kept the party going. I honestly could not have asked for a better experience. Their talent, sincerity, and professionalism are unsurpassed. I promise you will not be disappointed.

We could not have been more happy with Lauren & the band!! In the weeks and months leading up to the wedding, Lauren was very helpful and communicative about our vision for the wedding. At the wedding reception, she and the band were wonderful! Everyone was dancing by the end of the night, and all were asking me how I found them! Thanks Lauren & the Velvetones for everything!!

MsJones & the Velvetones are the best of the best Creating the perfect wedding reception nest. With music to bring all ages to the dance floor They kept the guests wanting so much more! In all seriousness, Trae and I would book them 100 times over for our wedding reception. It is unanimous: best wedding ever, all thanks to MsJones & the Velvetones!

I couldn't have asked for anything better! Lauren was always available for questions or anything when I needed her up until the big day and on the big day. The band handled special requests (including allowing myself and my husband to get up and play along with the band) with no problems! They made sure everyone was out on the dance floor and having a good time! And I am still receiving compliments on the band and their performance two weeks after the event! Lauren has a beautiful voice and is backed by an excellent group of musicians - they were truly terrific! I hope the next time I am in Asheville I can see them play again!!!

As a person, Lauren was a delight from the get-go...prompt responses, full of ideas for some of the "processing" such as, "how do know when is the good time for the first dance?", "what's a good way to acknowledge some of the guests?", "how do we get folks up to dance?", and other little worries one might have as the bride and party planner. Lauren's band is instantly like-able and completely engaged with our group. Lots of smiles and eye contact! Musically, I LOVE their music! Their extensive song list gave us plenty of material to use during the night and lots of variety as we transitioned through the hours. Can't wait to hear them again!

We had a 100% positive experience with MsJones & The Velvetones! Lauren stayed in touch with us on a regular basis from the time of booking until our wedding day this past Saturday. Our guests danced for hours and we had several people ask us during the reception, "Where did you guys find this band? They are awesome!" The band played a mid-tempo jazz set during dinner and then at least two more sets of dance music that kept us dancing until the very last song! Lauren has a wonderful voice & the ability to sing many different styles of music. The band is also made up musicians who have amazing talent...and they all looked like they were having just as much fun as we were!
