Mara Stepe Singing Pianist from Brooklyn, NY

Mara Stepe is a bright and talented singer and songwriter with roots in jazz, pop, folk, and R&B. She began playing piano at age six, studying jazz in her teen years, and accompanying herself singing her favorite radio songs at the piano since age 11. With a voice that is soulful, sensitive, energetic and alluring, Mara's repertoire includes (but is not limited to) hundreds of popular jazz, soul, R&B, and pop standards. Mara has been performing public and private events since 2009 in wedding ceremonies, receptions, cocktail hours, parties, restaurants, performance venues, and more in acts ranging from solo to six-piece bands, covering genres including jazz, soul, R&B, disco, and pop, along with occasional latin tunes. She performs her original music regularly throughout New York City and is available for events in and around the area. She is excellent as a solo singer/pianist and can provide musicians for a duo, trio, quartet and beyond.
