Formed in 2004, LIGHTNING HAND has been one of Northern California's foremost Classic/Rock, Blues and Americana Roots bands. The band plays covers and original music with an emphasis on 60's and 70's music, although we do play some 80's-present. Fans of Eric Clapton, Allman Brothers, Grateful Dead, The Band, Rolling Stones, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Black Crowes, Tom Petty, Lynyrd Skynrd, ZZ Top, Neil Young and traditional Blues/Americana will absolutely love the band!! They have been rated the #1 band here at Gigmasters in many categories including: Rock, Covers, Americana, Acoustic, Southern Rock and Wedding band. LIGHTNING HAND has played well over 70 gigs from Gigmasters with positive reviews, earning us a 5 star rating. LIGHTNING HAND has played just about every hotspot here in Sacramento including Marilyn's on K, The Torch Club, Po Boyz, Powerhouse Pub and Constable Jacks as well as ARCO Arena, Red Hawk Casino, Raley Field, Konocti Harbor, Harvey's in Tahoe, the Sacramento Grand Ballroom, The Hunington Langham and Laguna Del Sol. The band has also opened/played before for ZZ Top, Journey, David Gans, Mumbo Gumbo and the Parrotheads.
