Harlem based multi-cultural Rock/Soul band Kwame and the Uptown Shakedown enliven events with organic music and original songs written by lead vocalist Kwame Binea and guitarist and co-songwriter Justin Wilcox. You will want to march to the beat of Medley's drums anchored by Art Vanterpool's base and Quigley's sexy saxophone. Performing at iconic music venues such as The Bitter End, Kenny's castaways, Sullivan Hall and Arlene's Grocery is only a part of the fun of having K.U.S. on the team for your events.
