Jennifer Zamorano - Coloratura Soprano Opera Singer from Arlington, VA

Cuban-American soprano, Jennifer Zamorano, has recently performed in a series of bel canto recitals in New York, NY, Boston, MA, Providence, RI, & Miami, FL. Prior to the pandemic, she performed the role of La Contessa Almaviva at the Center for Jewish History in NYC and critics commented "She shone in both arias --"Porgi amor" and "Dove sono", eliciting compassion in the midst of all that hilarity. Her instrument has a lovely vibrato and opens up beautifully in the upper register." Previously, she performed in the St. Hugh-Steinway Concert Series performing scenes from Lucia di Lammermoor, La Traviata and La Sonnambula. Critics commented that her performance "was brilliant, and bordering on perfection. Zamorano that night could be compared with some of the biggest divas of the moment". Ms. Zamorano's most distinctive roles include: Norma in Bellini's Norma, Lucia in Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor, Contessa Almaviva in Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro, Violetta in Verdi's La Traviata, Rosina in Rossini's Il barbiere di Siviglia, among others. ?
