Harvey began singing gospel music with his wife, Sharon, when they married in 1975. While serving in the U.S. Navy Submarine Service from 1973 - 1995, Harvey and Sharon sang in their home churches in Hawaii, California, Connecticut, Maine, South Carolina, Florida, and Texas. Since retiring from the Navy, they have continued to sing in their home church as well as other churches, local radio stations, nursing homes, and more. Harvey recorded his first CD in 1995, "I Will Follow Him," which received airplay on Houston's KJIC Radio. He recorded his second gospel CD, "If You Don't Have A Dream," in 2006, which has also received radio airplay in south Texas. Harvey's number one mission is to express and share the love of God and the reality of Jesus through music and personal testimony.
Note: You may notice that I am also listed on as a Country Classics performer as well as an Elvis Tribute Artist. The schedule and reference phone numbers I send you includes performance dates for all my performances. I very seldom schedule Elvis or Country concerts on Sundays as we are very active in our local church. I can schedule gospel events on Sundays, or any other days, but if on a Sunday, I work with my pastor so he knows we'll be out that Sunday. My FIRST love is and ALWAYS will be gospel music. My other singing is kept clean and respectful and I do not perform in bars. I have made over 50 appearances per year since 2003 and officially went full time on July 1st, 2006. The Lord has blessed us tremendously and I look forward to being of service to you for Him. My gospel singing style would best be described as a combination of southern and country gospel.
Also, regarding fees, many groups can only afford a love offering and I completely understand this. I work as closely as possible with every group and much of the time, am able to sing for whatever love offering is given. I would just need to report the amount to gigmasters for their records. Thank you again for considering me for your function.
