Brooklyn-based Granite to Glass is an indie-folk singer songwriter ensemble that accompanies intimate and arresting lyrics with cinematic orchestral string arrangements. The group aims to envelope each audience with a sense of delicate and positive introspection with which to heal and reflect through their original music.
Granite to Glass' professional musicians comprise of guitar/vocals, violin, viola, cello, dobro, piano, and percussion. They have toured nationally and internationally, as well as performed at major venues including Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, DiMenna Center, and Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. The band released an album for orchestra and choir in 2016, and is currently working on a new EP and album set for release in April 2019.
Granite to Glass is local to the Greater New York City area, but also extends services to the New England and the Mid-Atlantic regions. Services include weddings, receptions, special events, recordings, accompaniments, arrangements, songwriting, and concerts as an individual musician, group (duet, trio, etc), or an entire ensemble. They can perform original work, covers, classical music, and other various genres depending on the occasion.
