Excellent Entertainer! He arrived early, set up without issue, did several great sets, took requests, his vocals are tremendous, and he had the whole restaurant rocking! People were up dancing, and we have several folks asking us to be sure to book Derek again - which we will!

Derek Evan was very nice and helpful in his selection of songs for our party He had a lot of people dancing which made our party a big success. Our 70 th birthday party consisted of different age groups His mixture of songs everyone of all ages enjoyed. I had many people ask me for his card for future reference. He was very friendly and he sang along with many of the songs.
I selected Derek because of his songs on his site and was not disappointed
in my selection. His performance, professionalism, and overall friendliness
made me and everyone else very comfortable. I will definitely use Derek
Evan for any future parties.

Derek was great. He did a wonderful job. It was very hot and we were outside so there was not much dancing, but everyone enjoyed his singing and he had the right mix of music for the group. Would definitely use him again and/or recommend him to friends.

Derek was a hit at our adult birthday party the other night. He obviously enjoys what he does and so did we. Each song was sung beautifully and brought back fond memories for everyone. Derek seems to have perfect pitch, a smooth melodic voice and a range that will leave you begging for more!

Derek was the DJ for our 50th Doo Wop Birhday Party and the party was a great success. He had a large selection of 50's - 60's music and his singing was great. We recieved a lot of possitive comments regarding the party,entertainment and requests for Derek's contact information from friends who would like to contact him for their future parties.

Derek did a super job at our Annual Christmas Party. Unfortunately, some of his time was taken up by our drawn out gift giving. The weather also played a factor in that it was a nasty night and people just needed to get home. I would not hesitate to recommend Derek for gigs in the future.

Derek was excellent!!!! We threw a 70th surprise party for my mother in law at the Sheraton Eatontown in Eatontown, NJ in Monmouth County. The hotel did a phenomenal job at decorating in the 50's theme and coming up with a creative and delicious 50's menu. The staff catered to our every need. It got even better once Derek belted out his first song. His talent made for a super successful event. Everyone is raving about the party from the hotel to Derek's singing. Derek is extremely talented and a true professional. Everyone at the party of every age group danced all night to Derek's entertainment. We had a blast! I would recommend him to anyone! Thank you!!!

Derek was very responsive during the planning stage. He confirmed prior to the event and was extremly flexible. He choose great music, sang beautifully and took requests. All the guests had a AWESOME time!! I know our event (50th wedding anniversary) would not have been nearly as much fun if Derek wasn't there. Truly! I would highly recommend him to any event!!!

Derek provided a wonderful experience for my father-in-law's surprise 70th birthday party. He provided exactly what we were looking for as well as accomodated requests from the guests. He was professional, prompt, and added just the right touch to our party. His singing was exceptional, he willingly stayed overtime as the guests were having such a good time, and got rave reviews from our guests. I would, without a doubt, hire Derek again and would recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ/singer.

I can't imagine it could have been better. Derek was professional, helpful and very a accomodating. All of my guests commented on how much they enjoyed Derek and how talented he was. Several asked Derek for his contact information. He was the hit of the evening!

Derek was very sick the night of my party, but managed to make it through the entire party. Although he was unable to sing too much, he did impress my guests and the party was a success. I will definately hire him again in the future as he is obviously extremely talented and very professional!
