The Gumshoe Murder Mystery Company Murder Mystery Entertainment Troupe from New York City, NY

The Gumshoe Murder Mystery Company is a great addition to your event. The interactive nature of our performance makes for an excitingly unique experience. Guests will have the opportunity to mingle with each other and work as a team to solve the mystery. Our shows are adaptable to your itinerary. For example we are able to work our show around raffles, speeches, and catering. We will bring our sound equipment and only require a small table to be set up only for Act 1. A murder mystery night plays out like this. Our actors arrive before the guests and greet guests in character. The actors then select 8-10 guests to become characters as well. These "suspects" form a team with 8-10 other guests (those in closest proximity) to solve the murder. The murder happens at the end of Act 1 and leads into our first investigation in which guests walk around to mingle and discover clues from other suspects. Investigation times last about 5 minutes. During Act 2 the actors interrogate the most suspicious character, for the entertainment of the audience. At the end of Act 2, another investigation time will occur. In Act 3, the actors review all the clues for the audience, and give everyone the opportunity to guess who the killer is by writing it down on final sentencing sheets. Whoever guesses the killer correctly receives the, "Gumshoe of the Night," award from us. Also the two guests who play their character the best receive, "Best Actor and Actress," awards.
