Michael Carr Motivational Speaker from Danville, PA

My main service is that of combining original songs, story-telling and motivational/inspirational speaking for both spiritual communities and civic organizations. The overarching theme of most of my presentations is that of building a greater sense of hope, respect and community among the group participants. As both an ordained United Methodist pastor and Licensed Professional Counselor in private practice for 21 years, I enjoy working with both small and large groups. I offer songwriting workshops, journal therapy workshops and relationship-building workshops as I use my training in emotional-focused therapy and internal family systems therapy. I have a passion for working with people of all ages. My focus is generally the high school audience through senior adulthood. Additionally, I promote awareness of and care for families affected by and living with mental health issues through my training in community counseling and psychotherapy.
