1 - IT'S THE THOUGHT THAT COUNTS
Typically, corporate culture concerns itself with results and what to DO to get them. Plans of action are put forth, people's performance levels are rated, new methods and systems are put in place. When these fail to produce the desired results, people are baffled and don't know what to do next.
David Friedman, author of The Thought Exchange – Overcoming Our Resistance to Living a Sensational Life, takes a different approach. When we view what we see in the world before us as a reflection of our thoughts, rather than as the cause of them, we begin to realize that the results we are seeing are more a function of what we're thinking than of what we're doing. In looking at those results objectively, we can uncover thoughts of lack or failure that we are holding. and by exchanging them for other thoughts more in line with what we want, see amazing changes appear in the course of action we choose to take and in results we achieve.
The difference between David's work and other “positive thinking” approaches is that David explores and reveals exactly why we often have so much trouble taking on the thoughts we want to take on, and how to deal with and overcome this resistance. The result is a more empowered workforce, able to achieve whatever objectives they desire, easily and efficiently.
In addition to the talk, David provides follow up one to one and group coaching.
2 - MONEY IS EVERYWHERE
In this talk, based on the breakthrough principles in his book The Thought Exchange – Overcoming Our Resistance to Living a SENSATIONAL Life David talks about how our limited thinking about money inhibits us from truly seeing and harnessing the fact that money is all around us and much more available to us than we might think. By exchanging our thoughts about money, a world of possibilities opens to us, and our business and personal finances soar.
3 - IT'S POSSIBLE
In this talk, based on the breakthrough principles in his book The Thought Exchange – Overcoming Our Resistance to Living a SENSATIONAL Life, David demonstrates how holding the thought of possibility, even when there doesn't seem to be any, breaks us through resistance into new levels of financial, personal and corporate success.
4- IT'S OK TO BE YOURSELF AT WORK
So often, there is an implication that in corporate life you have to be different from who you really are, toe the line, act like a machine and suppress your thoughts and emotions. Although this seems like it might be a recipe for success, in fact, in the long run, the happier and more self-actualized people are, the more productivity, creativity and success flourish. In this talk, David shows us how corporate life can not only be a financially satisfying experience, but a personally expressive and satisfying one as well.
5 - IF YOU CAN THINK IT, YOU CAN DO IT
In this groundbreaking talk, David demonstrates how anything that can be thought can be done. The only thing that stops us is the harmless discomfort that arises when we dare to think big. By simply being able to be with that discomfort, rather than taking on fearful or negative thoughts about it, we can continue to hold the thought and the breakthroughs happen automatically.
6 - SINGING YOUR WAY TO SUCCESS
As a successful songwriter and conductor/composer of Broadway shows and Disney movies, David demonstrates how all you have to do is think what you want to hear and it will come out of your mouth. You might be very afraid, but that will not keep you from success if you're willing to hold the thought. Bring a song to this one, you might just be asked to get up and sing. It's fun, it's entertaining, and the results you get here are totally transferrable to any area of your business or personal life.
