I have been a professional mobile and club DJ & MC since 2001 and have performed at literally thousands of public and private events from Weddings to Night Clubs, Bar Mitzvahs to Karaoke, and various other functions. I furnish the finest audio, video and lighting equipment and keep extensive music and karaoke libraries updated constantly. It has been my experience that the majority of events looking to hire a DJ are not just simply four or five hours of straight dancing, but rather are four or five hours divided into segments such as a ceremony, hors d'oeuvres or cocktails, dinner, speeches and other traditions, and dancing at the end. Keeping transitions smooth from one segment of the evening to the next, playing appropriate music at the right volume, and making well-timed announcements throughout the event are details to which I am very attentive. For any announcements that need to be made I speak clearly, confidently, I say what needs to be said, and I am always conscious not to be overbearing or sound cheesy on the mic. When it comes to the final dance segment of the evening, I prefer to mix my music seamlessly using turntables so that the beat remains continuous and the energy level of the people partying increases from one song to the next. Throughout the evening, I watch the way the crowd responds to every song I play and know exactly what selection to play next. As an example of my style, I have prepared a short mix of a few songs that I like that you can listen to from this page if you wish. Please know that during a party I would usually play more of each song than just a single verse and/or chorus, but I wanted to keep this one short and sweet as it is just a sample. Pertaining to set-up, I am able to provide music in multiple rooms or locations of a single venue for most events and even at multiple venues in certain special cases. I am also able to provide additional personnel for larger-scale events if needed. Over the last 9+ years I have developed solid working relationships with many of Seattle's most reputable Event Coordinators and have visited numerous of the fine venues found here in Seattle, as well as all over Washington State and the Greater Northwest.
