Writer/actor Alan Kitty has been performing as Mark Twain since 1979. His new one-man show, which is currently on tour, integrates original material with Twain stories and anecdotes and is delivered with characteristic wit and humor. Kitty's writing and delivery as Twain is based on thirty years of research on the author's life and works, current events and their historical roots. He derives his uncanny likeness and delivery from a study of commentary and reviews by Twain friends, family, colleagues and reviewer of the day.
