If you "March to the Beat of a Different Drummer" and are looking for an entertaining & unique way to bring life to your Event - through a method that dates back as far as the Middle Ages ... whether it be a Gala, Banquet, Birthday Party, Convention, Grand Opening, Trade Show, Cocktail Party, Corporate Function, Meeting, Community Event, Retirement Party, Wedding, Bar Mitzvah, Bat Mitzvah, Gravesite Ceremony, Cinco de Mayo Party, Memorial Day Ceremony or Party, Oktoberfest, Veteran's Day Ceremony, Thanksgiving Party, Christmas Party, Hanukkah Party, New Year's Eve Party, etc. - then you need to consider hiring MARK BEECHER as your DRUMMER ... who will CALL To ORDER all your Event Attendees, from small groups to groups of 1,000 people or more! MARK will use his Drumming Skills of over 30 years of Professional Experience, by first beating REVEILLE (the ancient drum beat that was used to wake soldiers at sunrise), then he will lead the people of your Event from one room to another in a small parade to the place where the Main Event is happening, at which point he can continue to perform at the front of the stage, or march himself out and cease playing and remain for some Photo Ops. Mark is also available for Gravesite Ceremonies where he will play the traditional Muffled Drum, which had been used for many centuries to honor those dearly departed. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs website even cites the old poem:
"BIVOUAC OF THE DEAD"
The muffled drum's sad roll has beat
The soldier's last tattoo;
No more on life's parade shall meet
That brave and fallen few.
On Fame's eternal camping-ground
Their silent tents are spread,
And Glory guards, with solemn round,
The bivouac of the dead."
Mark Beecher is equipped with various style drums, such as the ancient style Rope-Tensioned Snare Drum, which has a history dating back to the 1300s in Basel, Switzerland, to the more modern metal Rod-Tensioned Snare Drum, used by modern marching bands, bagpipe bands and drum corps, or ... he will even perform on an African Djembe Drum.
