Hi there! My name is Tim Cate and I specialize in performing magic for children and families. For over 20 years I have been fortunate enough to do what I love and have performed for thousands of families at birthday parties, and other family functions. I first became interested in magic when I saw David Copperfield make the Statue of Liberty disappear on TV. I remember watching the VHS tape over and over again that I almost wore it out. I stuck with magic and eventually got a job at a magic shop when I was in high school. Eventually they started booking me out for shows and I have been at it ever since. Birthday parties are my specialty, and usually my weekend is spent traveling hundreds of miles all across the Chicago-land area, creating lasting memories for children and their parents. But I love what I do and I wouldn't have it any other way.
