We booked Jonathan for my cousins birthday party, and was hoping to have him at the event. But unfortunately he did not show up, also didn't pick up any of our calls/emails. We planned everything out theorly and were hoping to see him at the eventthe kids were waiting for a magician, but sadly we had to let everyone know that we won't be having a show any more. Also, if the performer won't be showing up the most professional way to deal with a situation is "let the customer know a week or at least 3 days earlier so they can book someone els". It was ridiculously embarssing not having a performer at the party. Gig masters should also inform the customer. Disappointed
Jonathan Pollock’s Response:
It seems there maybe a misunderstanding in regards to your concern. I only placed a bid and never once spoke to you to confirm I could/would do your event.
The reason I haven't contacted you sooner but I had a personal emergency life event which required me to travel to the US with limited access to my phone/email.
While I sincerely feel bad for your and your valued guests, I feel this was a misunderstanding and doesn't properly reflect my service. Advice to anyone looking for an entertainer - before officially booking you must connect with the entertainer to ensure they are on board.
