"Book A Star Tonight" How about TWO nationaly and world wide know stars? Please read Bio for more info. Our Band first formed in Feb 2007 with Jerry Jaye singing vocals and playing steel, Nick Necaise on Vocals and playing guitar and keys, Jimmie Vee on vocals and playing saxophone's. Seadon on bass guitar and Jason Boggs on the drums. Ever since then, we've been playing our hearts out at local venues, working on all hot material and waiting for our big break so we can quit our day jobs.( Well at least those of us whom haven't toured the world) :-)
Saxophone/Vox: Jimmie Vee, had his own band, the Jimmie Vee Show, and after many years traveling with Vince Vance & the Valients, well-known for burning up the stage with both alto and tenor sax, often playing both at once as he is known for holding one upside down in the air playing with one hand and the other in conventional style with his other hand! This may be why he is often referred to as being the best saxophone player in our great country. Don't blink... You don't want to miss that Kodak moment!
Steel/Vox: Jerry Jaye, Wow, what's not to say about this fine gentelmen. Jerry had a number of hits that made and toped the charts in the late 60's early 70's along with couple of names you might know like... Elvis, The Beetles, Chuck berry etc... His record sales and hard work on tour around the world landed Jerry a spot in the Rockabilly Hall of Fame. He and his wife Darlene love the coastal Mississippi area so much they decided to live here. O... want more on Jerry? :-)
Drums/percussion: Jason Boggs, a self-taught drummer lends a rhythm that provides the backbone to the music. Deeply rooted in gospel music Jason brought the soulful percussion of his early influences together with that of later effects, going from standards to the swinging feel good sound of coastal Mississippi and New Orleans favorites.
Guitar/Keys/vox: Nick Necaise has been a student of entertainment since the age of 13. Now attending college Nick continue's in the industry as a skilled blues and jazz guitar player and lead vocalist, using his talent to teach guitar at a local area music store. Nick has great on stage showmanship often playing with his teeth or behind his head really working the crowd!
Bass Guitar: Seadon Faulkner, local artist also self-taught has been playing at a professional level for many years all over the Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida coast with several different bands. As his enjoyment and love for all genre's of music drives Seadon to find those whom love great music
