Tucci Classic Rock Band from Sarasota, FL

Tucci is a five piece high energy group featuring B3/piano , bass, guitar, sax and drums. The band has a wide variety of original tunes but, can also perform vintage rock songs if desired. Harry DeBusk on bass provides an urban funk rock groove. Dan Ryan adds the B3 and piano sounds. Michael Tucci lays down phat dance grooves on drums. Doc Tucci layers in guitar tracks keeping his mentor, Dangerous Dan Toler's magic in the mix. Shawn Murphy has just returned to the band after a 15 year residency in New York City where he perfected his saxophone riffs and lead vocals. On special occasions or by request Chaz Trippy of The Gregg Allman Band fame brings his percussive instruments thickening the groove and emotion. The band has an urban funk rock feel intertwined with the Southern Rock roots which Dan and Chaz brought to the music. The result is a classic very danceable sound which drives audiences from their seats into the aisles or onto the dance floor! Tucci frequently has music celebrities sit in during their shows. The recent CD "Doc's Hideaway" continues to sell well and can be found in stores and on line. Tucci's new cd with blues legend Larry McCray is due out shortly.
