The Social Mix did a fabulous job for both of our events- our welcome party AND our wedding on two back-to-back nights. We had countless guests comment on how great the music was at both parties! Rachael was so responsive and kind in crafting exactly the kind of mood, atmosphere, and noise level that we were looking for. It was spot on! She was absolutely wonderful to work with and I can't recommend her and The Social Mix highly enough! Thank you for everything, Rachael!!

The band did a great job in their performance and we enjoyed having them with us. the only problem was they did not get a sound check in and they we to loud and caused several of the people to leave. Not all there fault because of the program schedule. We wish them the best. Bob

Oh my goodness I cannot say enough nice things about this band. They are AMAZING!!!!!! Seriously! So good! They got the dance floor going and kept it going throughout the night. They were one of the highlights for so many people and I would hire them again in a heartbeat! My only regret is that I didn’t book them for longer. Communication was great throughout the entire experience, the band was great on the night, and everyone seemed happy to be there. They truly helped make my already amazing day extra special. Thank you guys so much!

We can't say enough about how happy we were with the music provided by Social Mix for our wedding. The band coordinator Rachel worked closely with us as we prepared for our big day. She helped us develop a play list, and made sure that what we picked would work for the atmosphere we wanted to create for our wedding. And then band on the day was great!! They exceeded our expectations, and everyone had a great time. We would highly recommend using Social Mix for your next event! Thank you Social Mix!!!

The band arrived early and were set up, ready to go on time. Our residents really enjoyed the music and it was the perfect mix of listening music during the meal as well as some great dancing music. They provided the perfect music for our outdoor picnic.

The Social Mix was amazing! This was our first time doing an event with a live music performance and they did not disappoint. Since our event was award show and celebration they provided great music clips to play while winners approached the stage as well as having great songs to play during the rest of the event. Our only feedback from attendees was to have the band closer to the dance floor. Thanks again for making our first big in person event a huge success!

Rachel was very responsive and willing to work with me to realize the "vision" I had for the event, which required a fair amount of flexibility on the part of her and the band. She was very collaborative and I had a lot of confidence they were going to be able to do what I had in mind, and they nailed it. Highly recommended.

Wow! I am so glad we found Half-Pack Live! Rachael was so easy to work with, and coordinated everything. We ended up going for the eight piece jazz band, which I thought was extremely reasonable for the price we paid. Everyone raved all night about how amazing the band was. They had a great energy and really entertained our guests. Even the guests that weren't dancers just loved listening to them. It was also nice to have something that all generations loved, not just our college aged friends.
I would highly recommend Half-Pack live. They were a huge wow factor to our wedding and are worth every penny!

Working with Half-pack live was awesome from the very start. Rachael was very quick to respond and accommodating of all my emails, requests and needs. She even met up with me over lunch to discuss the details of my needs. They were flexible in catering to my request for a 6 piece band, the list of my music wish list, and were very thoughtful with their recommendations and advice for song choices and instruments. The band showed up on time, well dressed, and sounded incredible. All my guests enjoyed them so much. I really am so glad that they were a part of my wedding!! Definitely recommend them for any event. They made me want to get married all over again!

Half Pack Live WAS FANTASTIC! They were hands down the best live band I have heard! My husband and I booked them for our wedding, us and our guests were blown away. They had fantastic song selection and even learned 3 new songs for us. They were super easy to communicate with and were very professional. They showed up on time, got set up no issues, they even were the MCs for the wedding and did a great job. They picked up on the mood of the guests and switched music to accommodate the situation. Everyone danced, and stayed to the end dancing. I was so impressed! I HIGHLY recommend to book Half Pack Live for you wedding/party/event! They are a truly wonderful group!

The perfect band for our party! Working with Half-Pack Live was easy, they very are professional and accommodated our every wish. The music was absolutely perfect and the singing was spectacular. We held a party for my wife's birthday party and decided to hire a live band for some dancing. My experience with party planning and hiring is _very_ limited but Rachael made everything easy. It was one large piece of the party puzzle that I didn't have to worry about. All I really had to do what tell them which area to setup in and everything else just happened. I hadn't thought about having a singer but I'm glad they have one. He had some amazing vocals. He also helped with some MC work when needed. The whole band pieced together nicely. The short answer is recorded music really has nothing on a live band like Half Pack Live.

Thanks again, HPL! The night of the performance went off without a hitch. The band was promptly set up and started right on time. Our guests were absolutely blown away by the superb musicianship. They had the volume perfect throughout and people were able to talk and mingle. The band’s breaks provided ample time for us to have a few toasts and show some photos, and as the night progressed, the music kept the party fun and lively. We wouldn’t hesitate for a minute to recommend them or book them again for a special occasion.

They were absolute perfection. They read the room and played to the crowd. We hired them for our small wedding (50 people) and they set the tone from the beginning. Before the event they made sure they were clear on expectations. Several of our guests commented on how wonderful they were and asked for their info. If we have any excuse to hire them again we will!

Half Pack Live were amazing! We had always talked about having a live band since we started planning the wedding, and after doing some research we found them. With all the wonderful wedding things happening on the day, we just walked into the reception and they were all set up and ready to go, after the dinner and speeches. We had requested a few songs and also asked for some Bluegrass music, that was certainly a highlight! Our guests loved dancing to well performed live music and it certainly left another magical mark on our special day. They even played an impromptu leaving song which ended such a wonderful day in a meaningful way. Thank you Half-Pack Live!
