Frank Briggs

Fusion Band from Burbank, CA - Will travel up to 3000 miles
BOOKED {{daysSinceLastBookingText()}}

$3000 - $30000 per event
Tens of thousands of people know Frank’s name and playing through his many acclaimed drum instruction books and DVD, his appearances as a featured clinician at NAMM and various music schools worldwide, as a touring/session musician, television appearances (Arsenio Hall, Soul Train, Pat Sajak, MTV, VH1, Jerry Lewis Telethon, Commercials) and now through his critically acclaimed and Grammy-nominated debut album “China Ranch” of which Frank composed and produced all the tracks.

Quietly and steadily, Frank has built a reputation as being one of the greatest professional drummers and band leaders in the country, and he has surrounded himself with players of equally high technical mastery and a total commitment to the music. His Los Angeles-based band of studio pros have worked with the greatest names in Pop, Jazz, R&B and Rock and are now available to help bring your message home.

What has he done lately?

A 2009 masterclass/concert tour of Argentina brought Frank to Buenos Aires, La Plata and Mendoza to perform and teach.

Frank and band recently performed for a GameStop Manager Conference at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas to an enthusiastic audience of 6,500 in which they performed hard rock music in the style of “Guitar Hero”.

2,000 attended the Lunesta launch in Las Vegas, where the band received a standing ovation after a heart-thumping walk-in performance of original contemporary jazz and funk. Plus, 3,000 people at the American Express launch of Blue enjoyed the band while they backed up Cirque Du Soleil performers, performed original underscore for video and entertained the audience with progressive smooth jazz and rock instrumentals.

If you need the right play-on for a speaker, the perfect mood setter for an Awards show or special event, live music behind a video, an after-party jazz, rock or dance combo, instrumentals, vocals, horn sections, fiery percussion, prerecorded music for presentations or back up for a famous artist … look no further.

The band can be as small as 3 pieces and as large 10, augmented with horns, vocals and/or percussion. No event is too big or too small.

Frank has even produced custom music for room drops...give your guests something to take home that will keep the event fresh in their minds for years to come. (Example: 2000 custom CDs for Sepracor’s “Lunesta” launch).

Highly polished and technically astute, these magicians have chops to burn. At the same time, there is a raw, loose, organic approach to soloing and comping that puts this band in a different place than most. It’s acoustic and electric; fiery yet delicate; comfortable but surprising. And the broad range of styles – from straight-ahead jazz to drum-and-bass; from Samba to Reggae to Latin to Funk – adds tremendous diversity to the band’s musical journeys. Add to that, experience working with clients like American Express, Sepracor (Lunesta), Forest Labs (Celexa), Eli Lilly, SAP, Disney, Toyota, GameStop, AstraZeneca etc. and you are sure to hit it out of the park.

We encourage you to give Frank's band a listen. We think they would make a superb addition to your event.
