Grupo Variedad is a representation of authentic tropical music of Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Cuba and other Hispanic countries, using the string instruments; as guitars and Latin percussions, comprised by typical instruments and traditional music of the Caribbean and South America.
Grupo Variedad focuses in retrieving the different traditional genres of music such as; merengue, bachata, bolero, cumbia, guaracha, son, plena and much more. The group has a fresh and up to date style, without losing the essence and originality of this kind of music, with an emphasis on the vocals of the five musicians, lead vocals, duos, trios and chorus, details that are distinguished in the group with different sonorous tones, noticing much variety.
