Billy La Voz (SALSA BOYS) born in Brooklyn NY from Puerto rican parents who are retired Dept of Educationemployees with over 33 years of service. Billy La Voz studied music at Kingsborough Community College also while in High School attended the Talent Unlimited Music program at Julia Richmon H.S. while at the same time marching in tri-state and U.S.A. competitions with the Ridgemen Drum & Bugle corps. meanwhile playing trumpet in the salsa scene with top latin artists and bands like Robert Torres Jose Fajardo Charlie Rodriguez Ralphie Santi Los Nietos del Rey El Varon Nelson Cordero and top 40 American bands like the Savannah band and many many more......now after his Salsa Boys local success Billy La Voz has transformed himself into a solo artist singer vocalist percussionist and producer musician where he sings lead wrote his songs and has created his own unique style of island Caribbean latin French Haitian music with a salsa horn section and Dominican Colombian Cuban percussion grooves he calls it......
