So when we found Luis, we knew that we had found our DJ. He was calm and passionate, and didn't seem like the kind of DJ who would love to hear himself talk at the wedding. Because that's what we DID NOT want. At the reception, we were supposed to have a mariachi trio play during cocktail hour and half of dinner. My dad came out while we were taking photos during cocktail hour and said the trio wouldn't make it because they were stuck at the border. My dad let Luis know and he got the sond the trio was going to play for our grand entrance, not to mention he played all through dinner with music that was just perfect! Ever since open dancing started, the dance floor was never less than half full and EVERYONE loved the type of music he played, the mixes he put together, and his transitions!! He made the process so easy. He was SO quick and responsive to all of my emails. He had an awesome website that made planning everything super easy. He sent reminder emails so I didn't have to think about a thing. He totally "got" what I was going for and was super helpful, professional, and accessible. At the event, he played all of the music we wanted, and everyone had a great time. Every song that came created an "oh my god I love this song" moment.
