The Cauldron Group Latin Band from Mira Loma, CA

The Cauldron Band is a Top 40, R & B, Funk, Latin Jazz, Clasic Rock, Salsa group that has performed for many communities and Cities and continues to perform all over Southern California. Members include band leader Herman Flores, Adam Delgado, Denise Benavidez , Art Duardo, David Miller, Rudy Lopez Jr., Ron Ehrich, Carlos Luna, and Eloy Gutierrez. Cauldron is also among the leaders helping many teenagers gain interest in the field of music and continues to perform throughout the community at countless events. In March of 1974 the group changed their name from the Counts to "Cauldron." Cauldron (whose name originated from Kool & the Gang's first album) began performing with popular groups such as Tierra, Los Lobos, Thee Midniters and Cannibal and the Headhunters. Cauldron would occasionally be the opening act for these groups at various parks, colleges and outdoor concerts. As music began its transition into Disco, Cauldron made the changeover with no trouble and began concentrating on professional performances. During the years 1975 to 1978 Cauldron performed in various lounges in Las Vegas, Hawaii and in Canada. From 1978 to 1991 Cauldron performed at various hotels in the San Diego and Southern California areas, including Disneyland, Magic Mountain and Knott's Berry Farm. During the many public appearances that Cauldron made, they were also the house group at Rudy's Pasta House along with Tierra who had released their #1 hit "Together." Today Cauldron has performed for many Private Parties, fundraisers, Corporate Party Functions, Christmas parties, Concerts in the Park,Weddings, Birthday Parties,and many other events for the past 48 years.
