Jazz S'il Vous Plait Jazz Band from Fort Lauderdale, FL

Shelly Dubow and Kamal Falk are contemporary Jazz artists providing ambient music for Restaurants, Private Parties, Cocktail Hours for Wedding Receptions and Other Special Occasions. They play Standards from the American Songbook with an exciting, sophisticated, contemporary jazz feeling. Format: Piano and Upright Electric Bass Duo. Normally two-set performances, one hour each, 20-minute break between sets, but always flexible. Shelly began his musical career as a professional jazz guitarist in New Jersey, having studied with the renowned teacher and performer, Harry Leahy. In 1971, he moved to California and made the transformation to jazz piano. As the house pianist for several years at Ritrovo's in Westlake Village, Shelly's gifted sense of harmony and rhythm defined his creative style and his approach to playing the standards that listener's love. While Kamal Falk is a gifted Jazz bassist, he also co-founded Bigtime Tributes in 2009 and earned a master's degree in Commercial Music Composition and Production (Florida Atlantic University, 2007). Together, Shelly and Kamal created "Jazz S'il Vous Plait," showcasing their individual and collective musical talent.
