Plus One Jazz Group is a dynamic and intimate ensemble that plays an eclectic mix of standards, originals, and R&B along with jazz remakes of pop, rock, classical, and Broadway tunes. Our unique sound is influenced by artists as diverse as Dizzy Gillespie, Bill Evans, Stevie Wonder, The Beatles, Norah Jones, Sting, Jamie Cullum and George Michael, and we tailor our performances to fit the unique energy and mood of each event. We like to think there's a little something for everyone in Plus One's sound.
The musicians in the group are local professionals and are among the best musicians performing in the DFW area. We take pride in providing a high-level of musicianship with a personable and professional rapport.
Plus One usually performs as a quartet featuring piano and vocals, bass, drums, and horn, but we are happy to customize our ensemble size to suit your needs. We can scale down to a duo or trio act for intimate spaces and scale up with additional horn players for high energy events. Band leader, Rebecca Cordes, would be happy to discuss your specific event to help you settle on the ensemble and playlist that's just right.

It was such a pleasure to work with Rebecca in planning the music for my wedding. She was helpful, responsive, thoughtful, and patient. She performed solo for the ceremony on her piano. Her talent created such a wonderful ambiance to the moment.
Plus One Jazz were exceptional for our cocktail and dinner hours. The musicians are very talented and play so well as a quartet. My guests raved about their performance! The band playes "In A Sentimental Mood" for our first dance and I couldn't imagine a sweeter, more divine moment. Thank you, Rebecca and Plus One Jazz. I will recommend you to everyone I encounter!
