Lisa Bell & Crescendo Jazz Band from Boulder, CO

Lisa has performed throughout Colorado and Europe and currently fronts the most versatile jazz band in Colorado. Lisa has performed and recorded with Bill Payne (Little Feat), Nelson Rangell, Robert Johnson (The Platters), and Gabriel Mark Hasselbach. While living in Kansas City, she sang backing vocals in concert with Bobby McFerrin, Marilyn May, Ida McBeth and others. The ensemble is perfect for large or small venues, and their style of music can be tailored for any event. Personnel include the core quartet of Lisa as lead vocalist, John Armstrong on keys, Michael Friedman on bass (Dotsero) and Larry Thompson drums (Dotsero, Wind Machine). You can add or subtract from there. Bob Rebholz on Saxophone/flute (Tom Jones, Peter Kater, Lannie Garrett), Bob Story on guitar (Jennifer Lane, Funkifino) as well as percussion and backup vocalists are also available. The ensemble plays traditional jazz standards often with a ?twist? of modern and retro sounds. The group?s repertoire also includes classic rock, Motown and R&B standards with a jazz motif for a truly unique sound and entertaining show. The group has performed at venues including the JVC Winter Park Jazz Festival, A Taste of Colorado, Cherry Creek Arts Festival and clubs throughout Colorado.
