Karen and her band were so professional and I knew from my conversation with Karen I would not have to worry--and I didn't!! Karen has a beautiful voice and the band was just wonderful. Their sound wasn't overpowering and you could still maintain a conversation and listen to their beautiful sound at the same time. Mostly everyone remarked at how typically you have to leave the room to have a conversation with people at your table but with Karen Wilhelm and her group everyone stayed seated or on the dance floor and it was perfect!! Karen and her band did a wonderful job for our wedding. They handled special requests for songs as well as for the timing of the event. She was very sweet and very accomdating on the phone. We were very pleased with Karen Wilhelm and her group of musicians. They set an elegant and sophisticated mood for our daughter's wedding, which is exactly what she wanted. Karen Wilhelm and her band were excellent; they were such a hit at our wedding. So many people stayed longer because the band was wonderful and the music conducive to conversation and merriment. And Karen was wonderful to work with. My husband and I were glad we chose to have them perform at our wedding.

After our wedding I received many calls and letters expressing how wonderful a time all had. Our guests were invariably impressed with the elegance of the affair. I beleive Karen Wilhelm and her band are the reason for a large portion of this praise. Their presentation and appearance was professional, their performance was flawless, and all requests were rendered wonderfully. We give Karen top marks in every way and unreservedly recommend them for any occassion.

Nothing bad can be said about Karen and her band! The quality of the music was beyond words. Her voice is beautiful and her band perfectly compliments the wonderful jazz performance. Karen performed at my wedding and everyone was very happy and impressed with her. She took time to learn a completely new song before the wedding so that I could surprise my bride and it sounded wonderful! She also accommodated for other special requests and was very professional as an M.C. Karen was very easy to contact and stayed easily in touch throughout the planning process. If only Karen could play at the next 10 weddings I attend!!!!

Exquisite voice and outstanding group. Very professional and prompt in all correspondence and organizational details. She went out of her way to learn "our song" for us, even though it wasn't in her standard repertoire. We had a great event and Karen Wilhelm and her group were fabulous.

There are very few times I can say I have filled in a survey and gave a perfect score. This time I wish the scores went higher!
I hired KAW for a corporate dinner and awards function I was hosting in Atlantic City in February.
The KAW team really impressed me from beginning to end. Professionalism, performance, flexibility and music selection was a perfect fit for my group. Nothing replaces live music and a group function and this team real figured out our group and performed beautifully.

Karen was wonderful (the bass and piano player were also great). My parents’ party would not have been complete without the music. Karen was very accommodating to the amount of pieces that I need for the party. I can not wait to host another party so I can hire Karen again!!!!

We have been flooded with calls from our guests telling us how wonderfully enjoyable the band was. The music was right on the money and every one thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Karen kept in touch right up to the party and provided us with an extensive songlist to choose favorites. I would highly recommend them without any hesitation. Extremely Professional!

I would highly recommend Karen Wilhelm. I was only slightly annoyed with what I felt was "over communitation" on her part.We spoke on the phone and had numerous e-mails all asking me to make sure we had adequit electricity hook-ups and tent coverage in case of inclement weather. My first answer of "yes" and "yes" should have been enough.

I like to ensure all aspects of the event are covered, and if I feel there is still a question (which I had in this case, I was not aware of the "cover" for the outside party) I attempt to clear things up prior to the event, so there are no unforeseen issues that could occur, so the event goes smoothly.

Karen performed our event flawlessly and surpassed our expectations. We requested a livened up party to celebrate the life of my grandfather who passed a day shy of his 98th birthday. Karen took the cue perfectly and created the perfect atmosphere...one which would have had the great man dancing all night to his favorite music. I would highly recommend Karen and her band.
