The Jason Parker Quartet re-defines traditional Jazz by bringing fresh interpretations to the time-honored standards of Porter, Gershwin, Davis, Parker (Charlie, that is), Monk, Ellington and more. Jason's warm, melodic trumpet is perfectly balanced by the subtle counterpoint of piano and drums, and the deep resonance of the double bass. These four engaging and accomplished musicians have a rare unity and their performance is alive with creativity, wit, and passion.

The Jason Parker Quartet is perfect for all seasons and events, and can tailor the instrumentation and repertoire to suit the performance. Working with some of Seattle's finest jazz talent, the JPQ is in the unique position of being able to offer everything from multiple horns & vocals to simple piano/trumpet duets, should the occasion demand. The band plays intimate clubs, bars and restaurants, and are equally at home in theaters, at weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, and private or corporate events.
