David Hughes is an internationally touring recording artist. CDbaby wrote about his latest CD, Swoosh;'jazzfusion has seldom ever been more expressive, more engaging and personable' and his original music has been described as 'Like a tall iced tea on a hot summer day, this music refreshes the spirit and begs us to linger'. The Band also has a variety of other music on the repertoire, including Jazz Standards, Ballads R/B and Motown. Hughes tours with the legendary Jazz group 'Jazz Crusaders'. Hughes has played with artists such as R. Kelly, Chaka Khan, Melissa Etheridge, Burt Bacharach, Smokey Robinson and at events such as Long Beach and Detroit Jazz Festivals and the Academy Awards.
