The Cactus Parade Jazz Trio has played at numerous cocktail parties, anniversaries, wedding receptions, birthday parties, fundraisers, and other events in the past three years. As a high school trio, we come at a low price, but with a phenomenal sound. We create a very easy-going atmosphere with background music that will add the perfect touch to any occasion. Originally based on the Vince Guaraldi Trio, our music is just as carefree and relaxed. Of course, we have expanded our repetoire to include all kinds of music, ranging from movie and television themes, to ballads, pop standards, latin jazz, smooth jazz, and all kinds of jazz. This trio is guaranteed to make your special occasion a memorable one.

Our event was a wedding reception and most of the guests were mature adults. Cactus Parade and their playlist turned out to be a perfect match for us. The performers were young, enthusiastic about their music, not jaded. They were well dressed, well groomed, and well-spoken. Their playlist included unobtrusive background music for dinner, and dance music afterward. The playlist stayed firmly "in the middle of the road," neither too current nor too old-fashioned ... just as we had requested. Cactus Parade's music has jazzy shadings, but it is not "hard jazz" placing demands on the listner.
We had no problems whatsoever with communication, scheduling, or logistics. Cactus Parade was totally accomodating, a pleasure to have working for us. Our guests had nothing but positive comments about the band.
