The beautifully crafted & most Danceable, Swinging, 'Latin-Jazz Sextet' is arranged & led by veteran Jazz Trombonist, Bill Ohashi. Relocated to Southern Delaware, Bill Ohashi is still traveling to New York City and New York state's counties. Therefore, please contact Bill for all events within a 300 mile radius of zip code 19966.
After many years of being musically immersed internationally and in the active the NYC Music Scene, Bill has formed the truly 'Fusion-Latin-Jazz Band' that swings: bossas, mambos & calypsos for listeners & dancers, captivating the 'jazz-buffs' with progressive, accessible, familiar but still challenging; vibrant music not only for the concert stage, but by brewing the 'intimate-feel' that folks want for their weddings, parties, private clubs, formal & informal get-togethers, using the smooth NY sophistication with all the ingredients of the spicy latin-stew!
Supported by Indy record label, 'EAR Records' (web site is no longer at Com but at Net), Bill Ohashi is now completing his third CD for EAR Records. The CD 'Vortex' will astonish & satisfy music lovers around the globe. Release of Bill Ohashi's 'Vortex' is expected to be released during 2015.
